… is the title of a Van Morrison album from about a hundred years ago, but it’s also a good way of describing the past year at Caterpillar. Towards the end of 2016, the group we had run in Didsbury for almost 20 years wrapped up and, shortly afterwards, the Lord gave me a vision for a new direction and, eventually, a new home.
2017 so far has consisted of a lot of listening to words, verses, pictures and dreams, and taking shaky steps towards what I believe the Lord is calling us to. Alongside a growing confidence that I’m not imagining things, I’ve had training in setting up and managing a website, in social media marketing and – most importantly – in becoming an Arts Award advisor. A team has formed, consisting of some who have been working with Caterpillar for years and others who are new. The current line-up is amazing and exciting, and I can’t wait to get going!
